IT World Canada Small to Medium Enterprise public category Digital Transformation Winner – Crisis Services Canada through its Canada Suicide Prevention Service has fielded thousands of requests for help over web chat and SMS since its launch in November 2017. The service is the first of its kind in the world to provide crisis and suicide prevention and support via voice, text and chat integrated with clinical management system.
The solution, designed by Roberta Fox, CTO and senior management advisor to Crisis Services Canada designed this award-winning solution that integrates various next generation technologies together including a robust clinical relationship management application. This integrated virtual contact centre of coast to coast responders enables the responders to provide distress support to people and also enables the responders to have up to date information related to local organizations that can provide additional help and support.
