Crisis Services Canada (CSC) Backup Hub Responder
Crisis Services Canada (CSC) is seeking a part time (minimum 16 hours/week) Crisis Responder.
CSC Responders work remotely, answering overflow interactions on the national toll-free Canada Suicide Prevention Service. Responders offer emotional support and resources, and carry out a suicide risk assessment to determine the level of risk to the service user.
Currently we are only accepting applications from individuals with:
- Prior experience at a crisis or distress centre.
- A reasonable computer proficiency and good home internet connection (responders work remotely from home)
- Flexibility in work hours scheduling (CSPS is a 24/7 service)
Applications are currently closed.
Due to the volume of interest, we are currently unable to accept responder applications. We are unable to give updates on when applications will re-open. We thank you for your interest and invite you to check back in the future for availability.
