Susan Hay interviews Kate Kuehn and discusses her story of surviving suicide thoughts and becoming a part of the Canada Suicide Prevention Service, a part of Crisis Services Canada.

For 50 years, Toronto Distress Centres has provided 24-hour support, seven days a week, 365 days a year to individuals in the community who are socially isolated, marginalized, struggling with chronic mental health problems, in distress, attempting to navigate family violence and/or in need of emergency response or suicide prevention.

Toronto Distress Centres is a member of Crisis Services Canada and provides voice, text and chat suicide prevention and support through the national Canada Suicide Prevention Service.
